PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic apparatus capable of using a member in common wherever possible, when a safety stopper mechanism and a brake mechanism are collectively incorporated in a single ophthalmologic apparatus and manually operated.SOLUTION: An ophthalmologic apparatus includes: a base 2 a trestle 3 that is provided on the base 2 and movable in the vertical and horizontal directions by an operation of a control lever 7 a safety stopper mechanism 12 that is provided on the trestle 3 and prevents a contact of the trestle 3 with a subjects eye and a brake mechanism 13 that is provided on the trestle 3 and brakes the trestle 3 in the longitudinal and horizontal directions with respect to the base 2.
