PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible tube for an endoscope having a resin layer which maintains excellent physical properties of a resin, such as flexibility, required for the use, has high resistance against a cleaning fluid, suppresses physical property changes (temperature dependency) caused by temperatures, and exhibits excellent adhesion of a top coat, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A flexible tube for an endoscope comprises a cylindrical flexible tube base material having flexibility and a resin layer for covering the flexible tube base material. The resin layer comprises at least two layers of a first layer and a second layer. The first layer contains at least one kind of elastomer selected from the group consisting of a polyester elastomer, polyurethane elastomer, and polyamide elastomer, or a chain extension body thereof. The second layer contains chain extension bodies of at least two kinds of elastomers selected from the group consisting of a polyester elastomer, polyurethane elastomer, and polyamide elastomer.
