PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer support device in which leg parts can be opened easily when contacting an object, and the opened leg parts can be returned to a closed state quickly.SOLUTION: A transfer support device 1 holds a care-receiver in a holder 4 and supports the transfer of the care-receiver. The transfer support device 1 includes a right leg part 8 and a left leg part 9 that protrude forward from a frame 2 and are freely opened/closed, and a return force generation part 11 for generating return force to return the right leg part 8 and the left leg part 9 from an opened state to a closed state.
