PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device capable of shortening examination time and reducing dependence of diagnosis results on the examiner in a rheumatism diagnosis using an ultrasonic diagnostic device.SOLUTION: A predetermined portion is searched in an ultrasonic image obtained in one of a plurality of imaging modes. When the predetermined portion exists, a feature value showing a morphological feature of the predetermined portion is calculated and whether the feature value satisfies a predetermined condition is conditionally determined. When the condition is satisfied, use of a second mode different from the mode among the plurality of imaging modes is promoted.【課題】超音波診断装置を用いたリウマチ診断において、検査時間の短縮と診断結果の検者依存を低減可能な超音波診断装置を提供する。【解決手段】複数の画像化モードの内の一つのモードで得た超音波画像から所定の部位を探索し、前記所定の部位が存在する場合、前記所定の部位の形態的特徴を示す特徴値を算出し、前記特徴値が所定の条件を満たしたか否かを条件判定し、前記条件を満たしている場合、前記複数の画像化モードの内、前記モードとは異なる第二のモードの使用を促す。【選択図】図4(a)
