The present invention relates to a vehicle and a vehicle control method for more efficient calculation of calorie consumed during driving. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the calorie management method includes the following steps of: obtaining, from at least one first controller, driver property information and driver calorie consumption-related behavior information electronically quantifying the driver property information and the calorie consumption-related behavior information in the at least one first controller transmitting the electronically quantified information to a second controller and calculating, in the second controller, the calorie consumed during driving by using the electronically quantified information.본 발명은 운전 중 소모되는 열량을 보다 효율적으로 계산할 수 있는 차량 및 그 제어 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 운전 소모 열량 관리 방법은, 적어도 하나의 제 1 제어기에서 운전자 특징 정보 및 운전자의 열량 소모 관련 동작 정보를 획득하는 단계 상기 적어도 하나의 제 1 제어기에서 상기 운전자 특징 정보 및 상기 열량 소모 관련 동작 정보를 전자 수치화하는 단계 상기 전자 수치화된 정보를 제 2 제어기로 전달하는 단계 및 상기 제 2 제어기에서 상기 전자 수치화된 정보를 이용하여 운전 중 소모된 열량을 계산하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
