The purpose of the present invention is to enable acquisition of data using less power. This data acquisition apparatus has an integrated circuit and an information processing device. The integrated circuit has: a first terminal to which a switch signal for master/slave switching is input at the start of acquisition of data； an A/D inverter for converting input analogue data to digital data； and an output terminal for outputting the digital data. In response to the switch signal, the integrated circuit is set as a master or slave. The information processing device has: a switching setting unit which, when the integrated circuit is a slave, sets the information processing device as a master, when the integrated circuit is a master, sets the information processing device as a slave, and generates the switch signal； a second terminal which is connected to the first terminal and outputs the switch signal； and an input terminal which is connected to the output terminal and to which the digital data is input.
