PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod with a hook keeper preventing a fishline from entering between a locking part for hooking a fishhook, and a fishing rod outer peripheral surface.SOLUTION: The fishing rod with a hook keeper comprises a hook keeper 10 including: a stationary part 11 fixed to the outer peripheral surface of a fishing rod 1A and a locking part 12 integrally formed with the stationary part 11 and to which the fishhook is locked. Further the fishing rod includes an entry prevention member 20 that prevents the fishline from entering between the locking part 12 and the outer peripheral surface of the fishing rod 1A.
