Described is a process for making a dry and stable hemostatic composition, said process comprising a) providing a dry granular preparation of a biocompatible polymer suitable for use in hemostasis, b) coating the granules in said dry granular preparation with a preparation of a coagulation inducing agent, thereby obtaining coagulation inducing agent coated polymer granules, c) filling said coagulation inducing agent coated polymer granules into a final container, d) finishing the final container to a storable pharmaceutical device containing said coagulation inducing agent coated polymer granules as a dry and stable hemostatic composition.본 발명은 a) 지혈에 사용하기 적절한 생체적합성 중합체의 건조 과립상 제제를 제공하는 단계 b) 상기 건조 과립상 제제 중의 과립을 응고 유도제의 제제로 피복시켜 응고 유도제 피복된 중합체 과립을 얻는 단계 c) 상기 응고 유도제 피복된 중합체 과립을 최종 용기에 충전시키는 단계 및 d) 건조 및 안정한 지혈 조성물로서 상기 응고 유도제 피복된 중합체 과립을 함유하는 저장 가능한 제약 장치내에서 최종 용기를 피니쉬 처리하는 단계를 포함하는, 건조 및 안정한 지혈 조성물의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.
