PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate high quality tomographic image by performing appropriate noise removal processing on a sinogram causing neither deterioration in sharpness nor the generation of an artifact.SOLUTION: The sinogram is generated based on a radiation image signal for each photographing angle, the generated sinogram is converted into frequency component data on a frequency space, the converted frequency component data is divided into a plurality of frequency areas different from each other, a plurality of division sinograms is generated based on the frequency component data for each divided frequency area, noise removal processing is individually performed on each of division sinograms, then the reconstruction is performed based on the division sinograms subjected to the noise removal processing, thus, tomographic image of a subject is generated.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】鮮鋭度の低下やアーチファクトの発生を招くことなく、サイノグラムに対して適切なノイズ除去処理を施し、高画質な断層画像を生成する。【解決手段】撮影角度毎の放射線画像信号に基づいてサイノグラムを生成し、その生成したサイノグラムを周波数空間上の周波数成分データに変換し、その変換した周波数成分データを互いに異なる複数の周波数領域に分割し、その分割した周波数領域毎の周波数成分データに基づいて、複数の分割サイノグラムを生成し、その各分割サイノグラムに対して別個にノイズ除去処理を施し、そのノイズ除去処理を施した分割サイノグラムに基づいて、再構成を行って被写体の断層画像を生成する。【選択図】図3
