The present invention relates to method and pharmaceutical compositions for preventing glucocorticoid-induced corneal or skin thinning. In particular, the present invention relates to a mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist for topical use in a method for preventing or reducing glucocorticoid-induced corneal or skin thinning in a subject in need thereof. The invention also relates to a topical pharmaceutical composition comprising an amount of at least one glucocorticoid and an amount of at least one mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist or inhibitor of MR expression for use in a method for treating an inflammatory skin disease or an inflammatory disease of the cornea or of the anterior segment of the eye in a subject in need thereof.La présente invention concerne des méthodes et des compositions pharmaceutiques pour la prévention de l'amincissement de la cornée ou de la peau induit par des glucocorticoïdes. En particulier, la présente invention concerne un antagoniste d'un récepteur des minéralocorticoïdes pour l'utilisation topique dans une méthode de prévention ou de réduction de l'amincissement de la cornée ou de la peau induit par des glucocorticoïdes chez un sujet en ayant besoin. L'invention concerne également une composition pharmaceutique topique comprenant une quantité d'au moins un glucocorticoïde et une quantité d'au moins un antagoniste d'un récepteur des minéralocorticoïdes ou un inhibiteur de l'expression de MR pour l'utilisation dans une méthode de traitement d'une maladie cutanée inflammatoire ou d'une maladie inflammatoire de la cornée ou du segment antérieur de l'œil chez un sujet en ayant besoin.
