PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing absorbent article for continuously manufacturing an absorbent article with stably improved adhesion strength by adhering a separate member on nonwoven fabric and an absorbent article hardly generating a side leak of body fluid.
SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the absorbent article is to adhere nonwoven fabric constituting an absorbent body 5 and a separate member together to continuously manufacture the absorbent article. The method for manufacturing the absorbent article includes: a compression part forming process wherein an area to be preliminarily coated with an adhesive 7 in the nonwoven fabric or the separate member is compressed to form a compression part 21 an adhesive applying process to apply the adhesive on the compression part 21 and a joining process to join the nonwoven fabric and the separate member via the adhesive 7.
