A dental implant is disclosed comprising an implant fixture, coil spring 2, metal ball 3, screw and implant abutment. The implant is placed horizontally into the jaw bone and dentures are clipped onto it. The implant is preferably made from titanium or a titanium alloy and may be coated in hydroxyapatite.
