The purpose of the present invention is to provide a skin-exterior anti-ageing composition for preventing or improving trouble areas upon the exterior of the skin caused by ageing and degradation such as wrinkles, fine lines, blotches, and sagging, and for maintaining or enhancing the barrier function and hyaluronic acid production of the skin. Accordingly, provided is a skin-exterior anti-ageing composition in which an aqueous medium is used as a base, and one or more selected from among L-ascorbic acid, derivatives thereof, and salts of the L-ascorbic acid and the derivatives thereof is included as an active ingredient.
