PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition maintaining high antiseptic power, having good preservation stability and giving good feeling of use, and to provide a method for enhancing antiseptic power of a dentifrice composition.SOLUTION: The dentifrice composition comprises (A) a polyglycerol fatty acid ester, (B) a chelating agent, (C) xylitol and/or erythritol, and (D) glycerol.
