PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device estimating a degree of tension of a person by excluding an increase in a heart rate due to exercise of the person on the basis of measurement of heartbeats of the person.SOLUTION: When a person is in a relaxed state, a tension degree estimation device acquires a ratio SD/RMSSD of a standard deviation SD of heartbeat intervals in a prescribed period to a square root RMSSD of an average value of the square of a difference between adjacent heartbeat intervals. When estimating a degree of tension of the person on the basis of the measurement of the heartbeats of the person, the tension degree estimation device calculates a value of SD/RMSSD of the heartbeats for the prescribed period and, only when the calculated value of the SD/RMSSD increases over a prescribed limit from the value of the SD/RMSSD acquired when the person is in the relaxed state, estimates the degree of tension on the basis of the heart rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4【課題】人の心拍の測定に基づき、人の運動による心拍数の増大を排除して、人の緊張度を推定する装置を提供する。【解決手段】所定期間内における心拍間隔の標準偏差ＳＤと相隣る心拍間隔の差の２乗の平均値の平方根ＲＭＳＳＤの比ＳＤ／ＲＭＳＳＤを人がくつろぎ状態にあるとき求めておき、人の心拍の測定に基づいて人の緊張度を推定するに当たっては、所定期間内の心拍についてＳＤ／ＲＭＳＳＤの値を算出し、算出されたＳＤ／ＲＭＳＳＤの値が前記のくつろぎ状態時に求められたＳＤ／ＲＭＳＳＤの値より所定の限度を越えて増大しているときのみ、心拍数に基づく緊張度の推定を行う。【選択図】図４
