The present invention relates to an antithrombotic composition comprising an ethyl acetate fraction of an Abeliophyllum distichum stem ethanol extract as an active ingredient, and more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition and a health functional food for preventing or treating/alleviating thrombosis through inhibition of blood coagulation inhibition and inhibition of platelet aggregation comprising an ethyl acetate fraction of an ethanol extract prepared from stems of Abeliophyllum distichum as the active ingredient. As proved through an embodiment of the present specification, the ethyl acetate fraction of the Abeliophyllum distichum stem ethanol extract as the active ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition and a health functional food for prevention or treatment of thrombosis is expected to be used for the purpose of preventing and treating thrombosis such as ischemic stroke or hemorrhagic stroke through improvement of blood circulation since the ethyl acetate fraction of the Abeliophyllum distichum stem ethanol extract not only exhibits strong antithrombotic activity due to inhibition of thrombus formation-related enzymes, inhibition of blood coagulation factors and inhibition of platelet aggregation, but also shows no hemolytic activity to human red blood cells, has excellent thermal stability and does not exhibit a loss in an inhibition effect on thrombus formation-related enzymes, blood coagulation factors and platelet aggregation even in an acidic condition of pH 2 and in blood plasma.
