An orthosis (1) for support of a patient's wrist, hand and/or fingers,comprising a substantially rigidwire frame (2) which is shaped and configured to directly engage a patient'swrist, hand and/orfingers in snug fashion for support thereof. The wire frame (2) comprises oneor morelongitudinally extendible and retractable wire frame adjusters (3) forloosening or tightening thewire frame (2), wherein each of the wire frame adjusters (3) comprises a firstframe end section(4) and a second frame end section (5) in side-by-side engagement, wherein thefirst and secondframe end sections (4,5) are laterally immovable whilst being longitudinallymovable with respectto each other. Each of the wire frame adjusters (3) is positioned at apredetermined location withrespect to the wire frame (2) for providing longitudinal extension andretraction thereof at thepredetermined location.
