PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is excellent in wearing feeling, since the absorbent article is configured to be easily worn, and an end edge of a sheet forming the absorbent article hardly touches a wearer.SOLUTION: An underpants type absorbent article 1 comprises an interior body 3 comprising an absorber 17, and an exterior body 4 comprising a waist opening part 9 and a pair of leg opening parts, and comprises a dimension direction L, a circumferential direction P and a thickness direction. The absorbent article 1 is divided into a crotch area 13 arranged between the pair of leg opening parts and a waist area 15. The exterior body 4 comprises on the waist area 15, an inside sheet 23 forming a skin contact surface, an outside sheet 21 and an intermediate sheet 25 arranged between the inside sheet 23 and the outside sheet 21.
