To provide a portable type air cleaner having an air observation function.SOLUTION: A shell body 101 includes an entering hole 1011 and a discharge hole 1012, and inside the shell body, an actuator sensor module 1 and an air cleaning unit 2 are installed. The actuator sensor module 1 contains an actuator 13 and a sensor 12. The actuator 13 drives external gases, has the gases enter into the shell body via the entering hole 1011, exhausts gases via the discharge hole 1012, and forms an internal air stream inside the shell body. The sensor 12 observes the internal air flow, generates at least one gas detection value, and has the actuator sensor module generate a gas detection value result.
