PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the position of a catheter accurately in a short time while having a comparatively simple composition, and to obtain the position, the direction, and the traveling direction of the entire catheter.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus is provided for interventional MR imaging accompanied by the operation of catheter 17 inserted in a subject P.
