PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air type roasting device having a simple structure, which can uniformly perform roasting treatment of green coffee beans or the like.SOLUTION: The roasting device includes a roasting container 2 to which a treatment object to be roasted is put, a hot air generation means for generating hot air to be supplied into the roasting container 2, and a plurality of nozzles 6 for injecting the hot air generated by the hot air generation means into the roasting container 2. The roasting container 2 includes a container body 21 opened at both upper and lower ends and a lid member 22 opening and closing the lower opening of the container body. Each of the nozzles 6 is a bent pipe having an upstream pipe portion 61 disposed in parallel to the axial line of the container body 21 at equal intervals around the axial line and a downstream pipe portion 62 continued to the upstream pipe portion 61 and bent obliquely downward from the axial line of the upstream pipe portion 61 toward the periphery of the lower end opening of the container body 21.
