The present invention relates to a portable ultraviolet ray sterilizing device capable of freely sterilizing even a small space by being easily carried and simply arranged by having a small ball shape, and capable of varying a pattern of a sterilization beam by adjusting a beam forming mechanism. The device of the present invention comprises: a ball-type body part including a control switch and a charging port, and having a part in which ultraviolet rays are projected, wherein the part has a lattice structure； an ultraviolet radiation part located on the upper and lower parts of the body part to emit UV-C ultraviolet rays, and including an LED light emitting circuit which displays ultraviolet rays in colors to visually confirm the radiation of the ultraviolet rays which are colorless； an upper/lower reflector which reflects UV-C ultraviolet rays radiated from the ultraviolet radiation part to the outside to form a sterilization beam pattern； a power part which is mounted inside the body part and includes a charging battery； and a control part which controls the LED light emitting circuit to control a UV-C ultraviolet ray generation operation. The device of the present invention sterilizes a space outside the device by radiating UV-C ultraviolet rays. A sterilizer of the present invention sterilizes a space outside the device by emitting UV-C ultraviolet rays in all directions through a spherical housing by using an internal reflector, and thus can be used for multiple purposes without being restricted by a target. An ultraviolet LED having a low power consumption, a relatively small size, and a long lifecycle compared to an ultraviolet ray lamp is used, and a charging battery is applied.
