A method and a probe for conducting an audiologic test is disclosed. The probe extends along a longitudinal axis from a first end to a second end, the first end configured for insertion into an ear-canal of a person and the second end opposite to the first end. The probe comprises a probe part between the first end and the second end wherein the probe part has a first port and the probe further comprises a holder fixed to the probe part, said holder being configured to being held by an operator of the probe, e.g. in a three-finger grip.
