Disclosed is an air purifying device for removing foreign substances including soot by passing inflowing contaminated air through a filter heated by microwaves for combusting. According to the present invention, the air purifying device comprises the followings: a hollow housing including an inlet on one side and an outlet on the other side； a longitudinal ceramic filter unit arranged inside the housing along the longitudinal direction of the housing, and formed of multiple partition walls for dividing a flow path passing through the contaminated air into multiple paths； and a microwave generation unit generating the microwaves for heating one end of the ceramic filter unit, and supplying the microwaves to one end of the ceramic filter unit to the longitudinal direction.본 발명은 유입된 오염공기를 마이크로 웨이브에 의해 가열된 필터에 통과시키면서 연소시켜 그을음 등의 이물질을 제거하기 위한 공기정화 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따르면, 유입구를 일측에 형성하고, 토출구를 타측에 형성하는 중공의 하우징과, 상기 하우징 내부에 상기 하우징의 길이방향을 따라 배치되고, 상기 오염공기가 통과되는 유로를 복수 개로 구획하도록 다수의 격벽을 형성하는 길이재의 세라믹 필터부와, 상기 세라믹 필터부의 일단면이 가열되도록 마이크로 웨이브를 발생하여 세라믹필터부의 일단면에 길이방향으로 마이크로 웨이브를 공급하는 마이크로 웨이브 발생부를 포함한다.
