According to the method for preparing an animal model of hepatocellular carcinoma accompanied with cirrhosis of the present invention, an animal model having an improved survival rate and an incidence of liver cancer can be prepared in a shorter time than the method of manufacturing an animal model of liver cancer developed and utilized so far, and the mouse sex is not distinguished.
