The assembly further includes a plurality of lateral spacers (726) positioned adjacent to the carrier (566, 605, 724) to laterally adjust the carrier (566, 605, 724) and provide a plurality of adjustment positions. The carrier adjustment assembly (722) facilitates lateral adjustment of the carrier (566, 605, 724) by removal of at least one captively held lateral spacer (726) that sets the lateral adjustment of the carrier (566, 605, 724), a lateral adjustment of the first outlet (522, 718), and an adjustment of a lateral separation between a seed row (907, 917) provided by a second outlet and a nutrient row (903, 913) provided by the first outlet (522, 718).
