The present invention relates to the field of epidermal repair. Moreparticularly, the invention concerns the use of a molecule able to inhibit aheteromeric receptor comprising OSMR.beta. as a subunit, for the preparationof a composition for inhibiting the expression of inflammatory factors by thekeratinocytes. In particular, the invention concerns the use of antagonistsand/or expression inhibitors of OSM, IL-17, TNF.alpha., IL-31, IFN-.gamma.,and/or the OSMR.beta. subunit, for the preparation of cosmetic or dermatologiccompositions, especially for treating inflammatory skin diseases. Methods forobtaining in vitro or animal models of skin inflammation diseases are alsodisclosed. These models can be used for screening molecules to find new drugsto prevent or treat psoriasis and other dermatitis.
