PURPOSE: A composition containing CBR1 inhibitor is provided to prevent and treat liver cancer by inducing liver cancer cell apoptosis and to suppress anticancer drug resistance. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating liver cancer contains a material which suppresses CBR1(carbonyl reductase 1) expression or activation. The material is siRNA, shRNA, or antisense nucleic acid. The siRNA has a base sequence of sequence number 3. The antisense nucleic acid has a base sequence of sequence number 5.
