PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which allows a wearer to walk easily.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper comprises: an exterior sheet which has a front bodice and a rear bodice and an absorber which is arranged on inside of the exterior sheet so as to extend from the front bodice to the rear bodice, and comprises a waist opening part and a left and right pair of leg opening parts. On outside in a width direction of the absorber on the front bodice, a cross direction elastic stretchable member which extends from the leg opening part to the waist opening part and fixed in a stretched state, is provided. By shrinkage of the cross direction elastic stretchable member, the leg opening parts are lifted up toward the waist opening part.
