PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the dose of radiation in precision necessary for the radiographic imaging of a breast and obtain its quality radiographic image without irradiating any excessive radiation.SOLUTION: The dose of radiation necessary for a preliminary irradiation is calculated by the irradiation dose calculation section 64 with the thickness of a breast 44 measured with a measuring instrument 66 used as a parameter, and the preliminary irradiation is performed in control of the preliminary irradiation time. Then the necessary dose of a main radiation irradiation is calculated by the section 64 in accordance with radiation X dose detected by a radiation dose sensor 52, and the main irradiation for radiographically imaging the breast 44 is performed in control of its irradiation time.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】乳房の放射線画像の撮像に必要な照射線量を高精度に算出することができるとともに、過剰な放射線を照射することなく、しかも、高品質な放射線画像を得る。【解決手段】厚み測定器66によって測定された乳房44の厚みをパラメータとして、照射線量算出部64でプレ曝射必要照射線量を算出し、プレ曝射の照射時間を制御してプレ曝射を行い、線量検出センサ52によって検出した放射線Xの線量に従い、照射線量算出部64で本曝射必要照射線量を算出し、照射時間を制御して本曝射を行うことで、乳房44の放射線画像を撮像する。【選択図】図4
