PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fruit juice-free carbonated beverage to which citrus flavor is imparted, and which is suppressed in deterioration in the citrus flavor, has fresh feeling inherent in citrus and maintains sharp flavor and taste: and to provide a method for preventing deterioration in flavor of the fruit juice-free uncolored carbonated beverage.
SOLUTION: The fruit juice-free carbonated beverage having citrus flavor is produced by addition of calcium salt to regulate the calcium concentration to 5-65 mg/100 g of the fruit juice-free carbonated beverage so as to effectively prevent the deterioration in flavor of the citrus flavor-imparted fruit juice-free carbonated beverage.
