PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst-coated body having excellent NOremoval ability.SOLUTION: There is provided a photocatalyst-coated body which comprises at least a substrate and a surface layer provided on the surface of the substrate, wherein the surface layer comprises photocatalyst particles, lanthanum compound particles and tin oxide particles composed of tetravalent tetragonal crystals. At least a part of the photocatalyst particles is preferably arranged in contact with the lanthanum compound particles.
