PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oligomer of lyso GM3 or its analogue, which has activity for inhibiting the phosphation of EGFR (epitheliocyte growth factor receptor) and is useful as an anticancer agent.
SOLUTION: The condensation compound of (2S, 3R, 4E)-2-amino-3-O-benzoyl-4-octadecenyl-4-O-(2,4-di-O-acetyl-3-O-(1-methyl-4,7,8,9-tetra-O-acetyl-&alpha-sialyl)6-O-benzoyl-&beta-D-galactopyranosyl)-3-O-acethyl-2,6-di-O-benzoyl-&beta-D-glucopyranoside with glutamic acid dimer to tetramer whose C-terminal is an amino group.
