PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out accurate skin evaluation using a spectral reflection image.SOLUTION: A skin evaluation device is provided which evaluates the skin of a subject by using a face image of the subject taken by an imaging means mounted on a predetermined illumination apparatus. The skin evaluation device includes an image acquiring means which acquires light intensity data in a predetermined wavelength region with respect to each pixel of a two-dimensional image of the face of the subject acquired by the imaging means, an image processing means which carries out a predetermined image correction with respect to a spectral reflection image acquired by the image acquiring means, and an evaluation means which evaluates the skin of the subject on the basis of an image result acquired by the image processing means.
