A drive mechanism for a medicinal inhaler, the inhaler comprising: a patient port； a canister actuable by the drive mechanism to deliver a dose of medicament to the patient port, the drive mechanism comprising: a follower which moves between a first position in which the mechanism is primed for use and a second position in which the follower engages the canister to deliver a dose of medicament to the patient port, the follower being carried on a rocker plate which pivots as the follower moves between its first and second position, wherein the rocker plate engages a switch when the follower is in its second position to indicate that a dose of medicament has been delivered to the patient port.La présente invention concerne un mécanisme de commande pour un inhalateur médical, l'inhalateur comprenant : un orifice côté patient ； un récipient actionnable par le mécanisme de commande pour administrer une dose de médicament au niveau de l'orifice côté patient, le mécanisme de commande comprenant : un prolongateur qui se déplace entre une première position dans laquelle le mécanisme est amorcé pour être utilisé et une seconde position dans laquelle le prolongateur vient en prise avec le récipient pour administrer une dose de médicament au niveau de l'orifice côté patient, le prolongateur étant porté sur une plaque oscillante qui pivote lorsque le prolongateur se déplace entre sa première et sa seconde position, la plaque oscillante venant en prise avec un commutateur lorsque le prolongateur se trouve dans sa seconde position pour indiquer qu'une dose de médicament a été administrée au niveau de l'orifice côté patient.
