PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing the deletion of a medical image linked to a medical report.SOLUTION: The image management system includes: storage means for storing a plurality of medical images storage means for storing the records of the medical images stored in the storage means deletion prevention attribute application means for applying deletion prevention attributes to the records of the medical images having attribute information relating to attribute information owned by the medical images corresponding to link information described in a medical report created by report creation means among the records of the medical images stored in the storage means and deletion means for deleting the medial images to whose corresponding records any deletion prevention attribute has not been applied by the deletion prevention attribute application means, and by which predetermined deletion conditions are satisfied, from the storage means.
