The invention relates to medical devices and is intended for the early detection of recurrence of gastrointestinal bleeding. The apparatus comprises a nasogastric tube and an external unit. The external unit consists of a laser display unit and blood aspiration-pumping unit. Blood laser display unit comprises a working chamber, a semiconductor laser and a photo-optical sensor. Aspiration and pump unit provides a lavage nasogastric channels and aspiration of gastric contents, with subsequent analysis in the processing chamber.
