The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring blood glucose using a planar lightwave circuit, which has a light passive element shape, wherein input light is proportional to a glucose numerical value of blood to change a light waveguide mode in a sensing section for a wavelength of output light to be moved to accurately measure glucose.
