PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug effective for a disease which causes the lowering of the quality of life (QOL) in the functional dyspepsia of a syndrome diagnosed when the findings of identifying organic disorders, whose state can be explained by an endoscopic diagnosis and a biochemical examination, are not obtained although upper abdominal disorders such as stomachache and a feeling of gastric fullness are repeatedly and continuously recognized.
SOLUTION: The drug effective for this disease is a functional dyspepsia treating agent comprising Aloe ferox or its hybrid or Curcuma zedoaria as an active ingredient.
