Automatic system (1) for collection and disposal of animal (P) droppings, comprising: at least one collection plate (2), configured to receive animal droppings released by one animal (P) supported by said at least one collection plate (2), at least one discharge through opening (21) being formed in said collection plate (2); at least one reservoir (3) for a washing fluid (4), in fluid communication with said at least one collection plate (2); one assembly (5) for opening-closing said reservoir (3); one sensor group (7), configured to sense the presence or absence of at least one animal (P) at said collection plate (2); one data control and processing unit (8) operatively connected to said sensor group (7) and to the assembly (5) for opening-closing said reservoir (3).
