PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist type hair dressing agent, which has high retention for set hair, is less sticky though the agent allows re-dressing, and has a broad application range of hair styles for dressing.SOLUTION: The mist type hair dressing agent contains 0.5 to 15 mass% of the following component (A) and at least one of the following components (B) and (C), wherein (B)+(C) is included by 0.05 to 5 mass%, and a mass ratio (A)/[(B)+(C)] ranges from 1 to 100. The components are: (A) a polyether polycarbonate having a structural unit expressed by formula (1) (B) a dimethylacrylamide/hydroxyethylacrylate/methoxyethylacrylate copolymer and (C) a solvent having two or more hydroxyl groups and a molecular weight of 62 or more and 1,000 or less, which is liquid at 30°C.
