Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Erfassungs- und Anzeigevorrichtung zum Erfassen und Anzeigen der Anwesenheit oder Abwesenheit eines Stabilisierungsstabes in dem Tulpenkopf einer Pedikelschraube, mit einem Gehäuse, welches dazu angepasst ist, mit verlängerten Flanken der Pedikelschraube oder einer an die Pedikelschraube angekoppelten Downtube lösbar verbindbar zu sein und einem in dem Gehäuse axial verschieblich gelagerten Detektierstab, dessen Relativpositionierung zu dem Gehäuse ein Erfassungsergebnis anzeigt.
