PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a striking tool (or a weeder) enabled to perform a weeding work efficiently by feeding a striking force to a tip by means of a striking mechanism.SOLUTION: A striking projection is disposed at the periphery of a turning hammer 34 to be turned by a motor 3 so that a striking force is transmitted by bringing the projection into collision against the rear end of a striking rod 51 thereby to transmit a striking force to a blade holder 70 positioned on the front side of the striking rod 51. The blade holder 70 does not contact the protrusion of the turning hammer, when a force pushed from the side of a blade 90 does not act. When the external force pushed by the blade holder acts, however, a rod spring contained in an impact mechanism 30 shrinks so that the striking rod is hit by the projection of the turning hammer 34.
