PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester for supplying a threshed grain culm smoothly to a thresher while reducing the disturbance in the transportation position.SOLUTION: A reaping device (4) is driven in synchronism with the travel speed of a travel unit (2). A thresher (3) is equipped on its lateral side portion with a grain culm supply and transport device (17) for feeding the grain culm transferred by a transportation device (H) on the side of the reaping device (4) to the thresher (3). The grain culm supply and transportation device (17) is constituted to clamp and transport the grain culm by a supply and transport chain (19) and a clamping lever (18). On the inner side of the transport starting end portion of the grain culm supply and transport device (17), there is disposed a takeover chain (30) which is substantially parallel to the supply and transport chain (19), as viewed in top plan view, and driven at a speed synchronized with the transfer velocity of the transportation device (H) to takeover the grain culm from the transportation device (H).
