This disclosure is related to a smart medicine box and controlling method thereof. The smart medicine box comprises an upper body and a lower body, further the upper body comprises a biometric identifier, a screen, a main controller, a plurality of lids and a plurality of latching devices, and the lower body comprises a plurality of cells. Each cell corresponds to a lid so that the cell with lid forms an lay up space for placing the medicine. Wherein the plurality of latching devices are coupled to the main controller, each of the latching devices can lock some of the plurality of lids, and then one of the lids is controlled by the control signal of the main controller to determine the lid can be turned on or not. In this disclosure, the lid can be turned on only when the user take the medicine at the correct time. All the lids will be locked when the user takes the medicine at incorrect time or tries to reuse the medicine. Therefore, this disclosure is extremely suitable for the elder, disabled or poor memory peolple, and can effectively provide the user to take the medicine at the correct time.本發明涉及一種智慧藥盒及其控制方法，所述智慧藥盒包括有一上本體及一下本體；上本體包括有一生物辨識器、一螢幕、一主控制器、複數個盒蓋及複數個鎖扣裝置，下本體包括有複數個格體，每一格體對應到一盒蓋，使該格體形成一容置空間用以放置藥品。其中複數個鎖扣裝置耦接於該主控制器，每一鎖扣裝置能鎖扣住部分的該些盒蓋，再由該主控制器的控制訊號決定該些盒蓋的其中之一盒蓋能否被開啟；且僅能夠在正確的時間下才能開啟藥盒取藥使用，任何不正確的時間或是重複取藥的情形時皆會被鎖住而無法取藥。故，本發明極為適用於老年人、行動不便或是記性不佳者，能有效提供使用者於正確的用藥時間，執行用藥或取藥。
