To provide an insertion device for an intraocular-insertion lens capable of stabilizing the behavior of the lens and smoothly pushing the lens into an eye when moving the lens from a lens holding section to a nozzle side.
SOLUTION: This insertion device 10 has a body 12 and 13 or 14 having a nozzle 12a at its distal end and the lens holding section 11 provided in the body and holding the intraocular-insertion lens 1, and a pushing shaft 15 moving the lens from the lens holding section to the distal-end direction and pushing the lens in the eye through the nozzle. At least and a part 16 of the lens holding part is formed of a water-soluble polymer substance solidified by drying.
