Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an ultrasonic diagnostic method and apparatus. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the electronic device comprises: a display； a camera； a first communication circuit for probe connection； a second communication circuit for communicating with at least one external device； and a processor electronically connected to the display, the camera, the first communication circuit, and the second communication circuit. The processor is configured to provide an operation guide of the probe by detecting an ultrasonic diagnostic mode, executing the ultrasonic diagnostic mode in response to the detection of the ultrasonic diagnostic mode, forming communications with the external device, acquiring data in the ultrasonic diagnostic mode, displaying the data through the display, transmitting the data to the external device in a streaming format by using the second communication circuit, and responding to reception of control information from the external device.
