The present invention relates to a pigtail catheter, which comprises: a body which has a hollow formed therein along the forward/backward longitudinal direction and a plurality of through-holes formed at the closed front side thereof, blood or body fluids being introduced into the hollow through the through-holes； a wire embedded inside the hollow of the body and having self-elasticity； and a foreign substance removal member disposed at the front end of the wire, positioned at the front end of the hollow of the body, and cleaning the inside of the hollow of the body while being drawn and moved backward by the wire selectively moved backward by the manipulation of a user. Therefore, there is an effect of easily removing the clogging of the pigtail catheter and reducing the risk of bacterial infection.본 발명은 내부에는 전, 후 길이방향을 따라 중공을 형성하고, 폐쇄된 전방측에는 혈액 또는 체액을 중공 내부로 인입하는 복수 개의 관통홀을 형성한 본체와, 상기 본체의 중공 내부에 내장되고, 자체 탄성을 갖는 와이어, 및 상기 와이어의 전단에 구비되어, 상기 본체의 중공 전단부에 위치되며, 사용자의 조작에 의해 선택적으로 후방으로 이동하는 상기 와이어에 이끌려 후방으로 이동하면서 상기 본체의 중공 내부를 청소하는 이물질제거부재를 포함하여, 피그테일 카테터의 막힘을 손쉽게 해소할 수 있고, 세균 감염의 위험을 줄일 수 있는 효과를 가진다.
