To make it possible to keep a second needle tip of a needle tube in a sterilized state until it punctures a medicinal solution storage section in which a medicinal solution is filled. A prefilled syringe 1 includes a double-ended needle 3, an outer tube 2, a needle hub 4, a medicinal solution storage section 6 in which a medicinal solution M is filled, a pusher 5, and a cover member 17. The double-ended needle 3 has a first needle tip 9 provided at one end thereof which is to puncture a living organism, and has a second needle tip 10 provided at the other end thereof through which medicinal solution M is injected. The needle hub 4 holds an intermediate portion of the double-ended needle 3 and is disposed so as to close up the opening on one end side of the outer tube 2. The movable pusher 5 operates the medicinal solution storage section 6 for movement in an axial direction of the outer tube 2. The cover member 17 covers the second needle tip 10 side of the double-ended needle 3 exposed from the needle hub 4.
