PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for recovering floating matters on water surface, which recovers floating matters on the water surface of a pond or the like, hardly causing clogging in a water suction part, capable of use in a pond with a shallow depth of water, with easy installation.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a box 20 having at least a front opening 22 and a water suction part 28 extending to a suction pump P in a rear part 27 a control plate 30 including a floating plate part 31 formed of a floating body pivotally supported on the bottom edge of the front opening of the box, with an upper edge 32 of the floating plate part located in the vicinity of the water surface, disposed such that a floating matter F floating on the water surface passes the upper edge of the floating plate part and a floating matter collecting part 40 detachably arranged on the rear part of the control plate, having a water conduction part 45 for preventing the floating matters from being accumulated at least in front of the suction part of the box. The floating matter collecting part includes a cage-shaped body 41 with an open front part 42, having a partition part 47 with a V-shape in a plane view, with the tip end in the front part.
